With representation, experts in the field, PR and profile raising and networking opportunities, AER members are provided with a powerful message sent out to clients and candidates and are serious about standards.
Adhering to a specialist Code of Practice, the AER reflects a need identified by both search and selection consultants and their clients for enhanced
professional and ethical standards and aims to make sure that AER members fulfil and exceed the expectations of their clients and candidates.
To qualify for membership, search & selection consultancies must satisfy the following criteria:
Influencing public policy and industry regulation
The AER takes forward the views of its members on a range of issues that affect the industry every day; from employment regulation to immigration policy and public procurement methods.
Driving pro-active and innovative press campaigns
Industry messages will increasingly be backed by a pro-active press strategy aimed at the media. The objective in 2011 is to build on the REC’s growing national and regional media profile by specifically promoting the views and activities of the AER.
Providing opportunities for active involvement
The work of the AER provides opportunities for members through active involvement in the REC's work to influence public policy on both a national and European level.
